Eysselinck sketched two perspectives in addition to the implementation drawings of April 1932 and used many colours. In the last decades of the previous century it was assumed that most modernist buildings were painted white. This was because the original photographs were in black and white and over time the awareness of these intense colours had been lost. So all outside walls of Peeters‘ house were white from 1966 to 2007. A study by Ann Verdonck of Examino of June 2005 confirmed the original colours, with the exception of the ceiling of the roof terrace, which was also painted yellow. During the last restoration the exterior walls were once again painted in the colours of Eysselinck’s drawings.
